38th Metro Manila Film Festival – 2012 Official Entries Revealed

Narito na ang opisyal na walong pelikulang kalahok sa 38th Metro Manila Manila Film Festival (MMFF) ngayong taon.
 

Binubuo ito ng 2 comedy, 2 fantasy, 2 horror, 1 historical action-drama at 1 romantic-drama. Naganap ang pag-anunsyo noong Sabado, June 16 sa isang Korean restaurant sa Makati City sa pangunguna ni MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino.

Mula sa labing-apat na nagsubmit noong nakaraang linggo, narito ang walong pelikulang pinalad na nakapasa at maglalaban-laban sa takilya at parangal sa darating na kapaskuhan.

Kapansin-pansin na wala ngayon ang Reyna ng Komedya na si Ms. Ai Ai Delas Alas na ilang taon na ring lumalahok sa naturang festival at halos lahat ng kaniyang pelikula ay nag no. 1 sa takilya. Sa kabila naman nito, pumalit sa kanya ang kapwa komedyante na si Vice Ganda na maituturing na kauna-unahang pelikula niya na magiging kalahok sa MMFF. Makakalaban niya for the first time rin ang mga Hari ng MMFF sa takilya. Sina Bossing Vic at Sen. Bong. Uubra kaya ang Horse Power ni Vice kay Agimat at Enteng? Hmm..
 
Bukod kay Sen. Bong at Bossing Vic, join pa rin ngayong taon sa Festival sina Kris Aquino, Gov. ER Ejercito, Iza Calzado, Angelica Panganiban, Zanjoe Marudo, Dingdong Dantes, Lovi Poe at Dennis Trillo.
 
Kung may nawala sa sirkulasyon ngayong taon, nagbabalik naman sa Festival sina Nora Aunor, Richard Gomez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Vhong Navarro at Angel Locsin. Aside sa mga bigating aktor at aktres, patitingkadin pa lalo ang MMFF ngayong taon ng mga bagong artista katulad nina Julia Montes at Enrique Gil.
