Box Office Update: Top Grossing Pinoy Films for 2010

As of November 21, the reunion movie of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo entitled “Miss You Like Crazy” was still unbeatable and undefeated at no. 1 spot in the list of Top Grossing Pinoy Films for 2010. The romantic film “Miss You Like Crazy” grossed P143.25 million.


The film outfit of ABS-CBN, “Star Cinema” was the most active film outfit this 2010 with a movie released of 10. Followed by Viva Films with 6, Regal and GMA Films with 3, and the rest film outfits with 1 movie released.

Placing at no. 2 is another Star Cinema film entitled “Here Comes the Bride” starring Angelica Panganiban and Eugene Domingo. The summer comedy film final gross is P116 million. Meanwhile, ranking at no. 3 is another comedy film, but this time from Viva Films. The launching movie of Vice Ganda hits P115.5 million and not still final because it still showing in some selected cinemas in the country.

Here’s the full list of the ranking of movies based on its final gross that was released this 2010. Note: Movies in bold font are still running in several theaters and will be supposed to change their ranking and it’s gross as the new figures arrive.

11. Sa ‘Yo Lamang (Star Cinema) - P50.23 million

The latest movie “My Amnesia Girl” of Star Cinema starring Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd Cruz will be included in the list next week once the first five days of its movie sales around the country had been tabulated and gathered.

John Lloyd and Bea hold the title for being the Box Office King and Queen. Both artists grab the said prestigious title before. Will it be happened again? What do you think readers?
